On February 20, 2010, taste celebrated Napa Valley wine, cuisine and regional beer at the 18th Moonlight Magic at Valley Gate Vineyards, the former Kirkland Ranch Winery in Napa.
Eat elegant Valley cuisine and dance the night away in a Winter Wonderland themed-setting that will be full of 1950s kitsch and fun. Bid on fabulous Napa Valley wine, including cult wine by great wineries such as David Arthur Vineyards. Also bid on exciting auction items, like a seven day stay in Kauai, Hawaii, as well as many of the Valley’s most exciting restaurants and businesses.
The live auction will be run by the famed Pio Roda Family Auctioneers.
“The incredible venue this year was generously donated by Madison Capital Partners,” says Moonlight Magic Chair Tiffany Holloran. “Last year’s theme was a circus complete with a ring master, mimes, and fortune tellers. This promises to be even more extravagant, creative and fun.”
During the event, there will be two raffles. The Instant Wine Cellar Raffle, which will be 60 fabulous bottles of wine valued at over $1500, will be sold for $20 each. The 50/50 RAFFLE tickets will be $2 each and the winning ticket receives half of all proceeds collected. The winners of the raffles do not need to be present to win.
“Current families, alumni and community friends are integral to Napa Valley Nursery School,” says director Lori Ware. “We thank the community in advance for your role in supporting Napa Valley Nursery School. Together we’re better!”
February 20, starting at 6:00 p.m., Valley Gate Vineyards, the Former Kirkland Ranch Winery, located on Route 12 in Napa. Tickets $50 per person 21 and over only. Proceeds benefit Napa Valley Nursery School. For ticket information call (707) 224-3319 or order at the door.

Moonlight Magic 2009 was a Big Sucess!
From a morning of décor trucks and staple guns, to the evenings ‘Bubbles and Bling’, the whole Moonlight Magic Circus was a most wondrous thing!
The comments of fun and impressiveness flowed throughout the evening. The work, the play, and the atmosphere, brought so many together. As the Director, I felt so proud of being part of such an organization! Thank you.
Looking at ‘our’ children’s faces made me ready to burst! Raising the awareness of working together for the enrichment of children and families, throughout the community, was certainly a part of last evenings Moonlight Magical shine.
I was proud and delighted that NVNS has grown through so many generations of our community. NVNS alumni provided music, auctioneering, alumni guests with supporters, and alumni donations from decorations to beautiful auction items. Current families are now ready to stay involved in our NVNS Community. I just so love that after leaving NVNS, we all stay together, tied with heart strings.
Our Moonlight Magic event has continued to support NVNS through many years with the energy and commitment of families like you. Efforts for continual growth and improvement are evident in the school, and at our events. Some people are already excited and taking notes for our next Moonlight Magic! Until then, we’ll now enjoy the remainder of this school year, learning and growing together, and all for our Napa Valley Nursery School. It’s a moonlight magical place!
