Flubber

Mix together in Bowl #1:
*2 cups white glue
*2 cups water
Mix together in Bowl #2:
*1 1/3 cup warm water
*1/3 cup plus 1tsp. Borax (20 Mule Team Borax laundry detergent)

Slowly pour Bowl #2 into Bowl #1 (approx. 1/3 at a time) After each 1/3 poured, pull out a blob of flubber from Bowl#1 and set it aside. When entirely mixed, knead to get out excess water.
Stretch, bounce, flub, blow air into with a straw,explore, have fun!

Playdough:

(Large batch)

4 cups flour
1 cup salt
4 T. cream of tartar
4 Cups water
4 T. Oil
food color (if using lots of color, use as part of the water measurement)

Cook this gooey recipe over medium heat stirring constantly. At first it may not seem like playdough but will quickly change form! Continue cooking until VERY WELL stirred and cooked both outside and inside! Store in an airtight container for weeks!
